These sweet and savoury slow-cooked meatballs are coated in a delicious honey garlic sauce and are perfect served over rice with steamed veggies. This easy dish is great for weeknight dinners or gatherings.
Ingredients:
- 1 (28 oz) bag frozen, fully cooked meatballs (~30 meatballs)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
For Serving:
- Cooked rice
- Steamed veggies
Directions:
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, honey, ketchup, soy sauce, and minced garlic until well combined.
- Place the frozen meatballs in the slow cooker.
- Pour the sauce over the meatballs and stir gently to coat.
- Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve the meatballs over rice with your favourite steamed veggies.
