Protein Waffles
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop vegan protein powder (I used Snickerdoodle Shakeology)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp pure maple syrup
- 1 medium apple
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Add protein powder, baking powder, almond milk, and egg to a medium bowl and mix together until well combined.
- Add batter to waffle iron and cook.
- Meanwhile, peel and slice apple and season with cinnamon.
- Cook in air fryer at 375 F for 10 mins.
- Add apples to waffles and top with maple syrup.
